Assessing Stamp Condition: A Guide to Grading Stamps
A guide explaining how assessing and describing stamps works for Apollo’s Lots on eBay. This is based on my collecting preferences, and how I handle and sell stamps, and isn’t intended as a one-size-fits-all grading system. The guide also covers how I prefer to grade conservatively rather than oversell on quality, allowing descriptions and images to do the rest.
Stamp Collecting Terms, Grades & Abbreviations Guide
A guide to stamp collecting shorthand. This article covers the main philatelic terms used and abbreviations that describe condition, catalogue references, postmarks, perforations and other features.
Decimal GB Postage Stamp Forgeries
My small collection of modern British postage stamp forgeries which includes Machins and newer Data Marix (barcode) stamps, with brief expaination into some of the telltale signs. Mostly reference with some items occasionally for sale in our ebay shop.
